民国三十年孙小头镍币，铸造于 1941 年，是民国时期货币体系中的重要一员。这一时期，中国正处于抗日战争的艰难阶段，国内物资匮乏，经济形势严峻。但货币铸造工作仍在持续，以维持经济秩序。1935 年 11 月，国民党政府实行法币政策，禁止银元在市面流通，随后发行多种版别的镍币作为法币的辅币。孙中山像镍币自 1936 年起开始铸造，至 1943 年停铸 。抗战期间，中央造币厂被迫内迁，在武昌、兰州、昆明、桂林、成都等地设立分厂，继续铸造辅币。民国三十年孙小头镍币便是在这样的背景下诞生。

正面：中央为孙中山先生的侧面头像，神态庄重，彰显伟人风范。头像上方镌刻 “中华民国三十年” 字样，明确了铸造年份。其字体端庄、清晰，布局合理，展现出书法艺术之美。

The Sun Xiaotou nickel coin minted in the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941) was an important component of the currency system during the Republic of China period. In November 1935, the Kuomintang government implemented the legal tender policy, banning the circulation of silver dollars in the market, and subsequently issued multiple versions of nickel coins as subsidiary coins of legal tender. The nickel coins featuring Sun Yat-sen's portrait began to be minted in 1936 and ceased in 1943. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Central Mint was forced to relocate inland, establishing branch factories in Wuchang, Lanzhou, Kunming, Guilin, Chengdu and other places to continue minting subsidiary coins.
