On October 1,1984, to solemnly celebrate the 35th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the People's Bank of China issued this set of commemorative coins. As the first circulating commemorative coins issued in New China, they opened a new chapter in which commemorative coins inherit major historical nodes of the country and凝聚 (condense) national emotions. -Obverse Side:The obverse features the national emblem surrounded by decorative patterns. As a symbol of the country, the national emblem is solemn and majestic, highlighting the legal tender attribute and seriousness of the commemorative coin. Below it are the inscriptions "35th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China 1949 - 1984", clearly marking the theme and time span, so that collectors can intuitively understand the commemorative object.
