青花花卉执壶

执壶，最初为酒器或水器；多见于唐宋以后。它与注子、注碗等配套使用，是古代生活与宴饮文化的重要载体。唐代执壶硕腹，喇叭口，短嘴，壶的重心在下部。后壶体渐瘦长，重心向上提，五代至宋时壶体多为瓜棱式，往往与注碗成套使用。从元代开始，执壶的壶体呈玉壶春瓶式，壶流弯曲而细长，景德镇窑与龙泉窑都有烧制。明清时期，形式变化不大，并开始出现玉、珐琅、金银等质地的执壶。今天我们就来欣赏一件青花花卉执壶：

It was used in conjunction with zhu zi, zhu wan and other items, and was an important carrier of ancient life and banquet culture. In the Tang Dynasty, the teapot had a large belly, a flared mouth, a short spout, and its center of gravity was at the lower part. The body of the teapot gradually became slender and elongated, with the center of gravity rising upwards. From the Five Dynasties to the Song Dynasty, the teapot bodies were mostly in the shape of a melon ridge and were often used in sets with a bowl. Since the Yuan Dynasty, the body of the ewer has been in the shape of a Yuhuchun vase, with a curved and slender spout. Both Jingdezhen Kiln and Longquan Kiln produced it. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, there was little change in form, and ewers made of jade, enamel, gold and silver, etc. began to appear. Today, let's appreciate a blue and white flower ewer:

此执壶以玉壶春瓶为基型，浅盘口、束颈溜肩、垂腹弧度饱满得如同满月，却不见丝毫臃肿，线条婉转流畅。壶身前置弯曲长流，后设扁带形曲柄，流与颈间以云形扁带相连，柄上绳孔与乳钉装饰，不仅实用，更添古朴韵味。

This ewer takes the Yuhuchun vase as its base shape. It has a shallow mouth, a constricted neck, a sloping shoulder and a drooping belly. The arc is full like a full moon, yet there is no sign of bulkiness. The lines are graceful and smooth. The front of the pot is curved with a long spout, and the back is equipped with a flat ribbon-shaped crank. The spout and the neck are connected by a cloud-shaped flat band. The handle is decorated with rope holes and milk nails, which is not only practical but also adds an ancient and simple charm.

其装饰工艺精湛卓绝，将青花 “繁而不乱、艳而不俗” 的精髓发挥到了极致！通体以青花绘就，青花料采用“苏麻离青”，发色浓艳，晕散自然，颈部三条弦纹划分出的装饰区，卷草纹缠绕得如活物般灵动，折枝月季花的花瓣留白层次分明，连花叶的脉络都清晰可见。

Its decorative craftsmanship is exquisite and outstanding, bringing the essence of blue and white porcelain, which is "intricate yet not chaotic, bright yet not vulgar", to the extreme! The entire piece is painted in blue and white, with the blue and white material used being "Su Ma Li Qing". The hair color is rich and bright, and the color spreads naturally. The decorative area is divided by three string patterns on the neck. The curling grass pattern is entwined as if it were a living thing, and the petals of the broken rose branches are left blank with distinct layers, even the veins of the flowers and leaves are clearly visible.

腹部两面的如意开光，线条圆润得找不到一丝断点，开光内的折枝莲花更是神形兼备，花瓣边缘青花浓淡交织，“花有向背、叶有阴阳” 的写实感扑面而来，比工笔国画更显生动；最绝的是壶流与曲柄上的缠枝莲纹，线条流畅得仿佛一气呵成，没有半分滞涩。

The ruyi opening on both sides of the abdomen has lines that are so smooth and round that there is not a single break. The broken lotus branches inside the opening are both vivid and lifelike. The blue and white patterns on the edges of the petals interweave in varying shades. The realistic feeling of "flowers have their faces and backs, leaves have their Yin and Yang" comes at you, making it more vivid than meticulous traditional Chinese painting. The most exquisite part is the continuous lotus pattern on the teapot flow and the crank. The lines are so smooth as if they were formed in one go, without the slightest hesitation.

而真正让这件执壶 “身价倍增” 的，当属那堪称“青花黄金”的苏麻离青钴料！由郑和下西洋历经万里带回的稀缺钴料，在当时比白银还珍贵，含铁量高、含锰量低的特性，让它烧成后能呈现出独步天下的青蓝色调，更会在釉面下形成自然晕散的“铁锈斑”——你看这执壶上的莲瓣尖、卷草梢，铁锈斑深入胎骨，用手触摸能清晰感受到釉面的微微下凹，这种“入胎三分”的质感，后世仿品用再多技巧也仿不出来。该浓处浓得发亮，该淡处淡得如烟，水墨般的韵味在釉面上流淌，让整器纹饰活了过来，仿佛是一件用青花绘制的立体画卷！

What truly boosts the value of this teapot is the Sumali cobalt material, which is known as the "gold of blue and white porcelain"! The scarce cobalt material brought back by Zheng He during his voyages to the Western Seas over thousands of miles was even more precious than silver at that time. Its high iron content and low manganese content enabled it to present a unique bluish-green color after firing. Moreover, it would form naturally scattered "rust spots" under the glaze - look at the lotus petal tips and curled grass tips on this ewer, the rust spots have penetrated deep into the body. When touched by hand, one can clearly feel the slight depression of the glaze surface. This "three-tenths in the body" texture is something that no matter how many techniques are used in later imitations, they cannot replicate. Where it should be thick, it shines brightly; where it should be light, it is as faint as smoke. The ink-wash charm flows on the glaze surface, bringing the entire decorative pattern to life, as if it were a three-dimensional scroll painted with blue and white porcelain!

足底 “糯米胎” 温润如玉，指尖一触便知是御窑专属的细腻质感；这般形制，别说仿品难以企及，就算是同期御窑器物，能达到如此精准水准的也寥寥无几。

The "glutinous rice body" on the soles of the feet is as smooth and lustrous as jade. With just a touch of the fingertip, one can tell it is the delicate texture exclusive to the imperial kiln. This form is not only hard for counterfeits to match, but even among the imperial kiln wares of the same period, there are very few that can achieve such a precise level.
