Heaven and earth create all beings, using mountains and seas as the furnace, time as the forging, wind and rain as the whetstone, and frost and snow as the adornment. Amid the vast, layered mountains and valleys, and the boundless expanses of heaven and earth, countless creatures are nurtured and reproduce, composing a silent yet magnificent epic of nature. When flesh returns to dust and life sheds its vibrant husk, the horns and skulls of beasts become the most robust and resonant tokens that living beings leave to the world. They encapsulate the sharp solitude of wild winds, engrave the proud spine of creatures striving for survival, and, through the long friction, weathering, and sedimentation of time, distill a profound essence and vast aura that transcend life and death. Here, I present two sets of rare relics of animal horns and skulls: one of antelope horns, the other of deer antlers. Both come from the mountains and wilds over the years; their shapes differ, and their spirits are distinct—one is simple, sharp, and solitary, the other intricate, flowing, and expansive—yet both deeply carve the hidden traces of natural evolution, condensing the minute imprints of species growth and environmental change.

先观左侧羚类头骨角器，头骨经长久自然风化，骨面呈米黄泛赭的温润色调，骨质肌理、骨缝与骨孔保存完整，斑驳质感原生野朴，无人工修饰痕迹。其上双角挺拔凌厉，角基与头骨咬合稳固，角身自下而上渐收至锐锋；表层布满回旋层叠的棱状褶皱，如同生命年轮，深沉黑褐的角身与浅淡骨质冷暖相衬，刚劲沉静，简练修长的形态尽显高原生灵孤勇风骨，时光褪去血肉，却将生命的坚韧内核封存于骨角之间。

再赏右侧鹿类犄角头骨遗存，与前者的简洁截然不同，尽显自然繁复之美。头骨历经风化，肌理沧桑古朴，形态完整，骨面起伏、孔隙皆是时光印记，边缘自然磨损不损整体结构。双角舒展大气，粗壮角基嵌合牢固，主干昂扬、侧杈曲展，线条兼具流畅感与力量感；角表原生颗粒骨突肌理清晰，棕褐与灰黑纹理交错，带着山野粗粝气息。双角于对称中存有细微自然差异，是天地造物独一无二的佐证，既藏雄鹿勃发的生命力量，亦在岁月沉淀中生出悠远沉静的典藏气韵。

First, observe the horned skull of an antelope on the left. The skull, having undergone prolonged natural weathering, exhibits a warm beige to ochre tint. The bone texture, sutures, and foramina are well-preserved, with a mottled texture that remains naturally rustic, showing no signs of artificial modification. Its pair of horns stand erect and sharp, the horn bases firmly fitting with the skull, tapering gradually to a fine tip; the surface is covered with spiraling, layered ridges resembling a life’s annual rings. The deep dark brown horns contrast subtly with the pale bone, exuding strength and tranquility. The sleek, elongated form fully embodies the solitary, courageous spirit of a highland being. Time may strip away flesh, yet it seals the resilient core of life within the bone and horns.

Next, appreciate the deer skull with antlers on the right, which contrasts with the former’s simplicity, displaying the intricate beauty of nature.
