Between Matter, Light and Form: Studio Fuksas at Milan Design Week 2026

Studio Fuksas携五件与意大利品牌合作的作品亮相2026 Milan Design Week米兰设计周。Milan Design Week 2026以“Essere Progetto（成为设计）”为主题，由4月21日至26日在Rho Fiera Milano举行的Salone del Mobile与FruoriSalone以及4月20日至26日遍布城市的 Fuorisalone两部分共同构成。

Studio Fuksas unveils five projects created in collaboration with Italian brands at Milan Design Week 2026. Under the theme “Essere Progetto” , the 2026 edition is articulated through two parallel programmes: the Salone del Mobile, taking place at Rho Fiera Milano from 21 to 26 April, and Fuorisalone, unfolding across the city from 20 to 26 April.

为 Ichendorf 设计的 Jelly、为 Martinelli Luce 设计的 Noura、为 Cantori 设计的 Samira、为 Altreforme 设计的 Sissi & Otto、为 Demarchi 设计的 Numen，以及为 Bisazza 设计的 Ipazia、Sofia、Teodora 和 Arianna，分属不同品牌、不同品类、不同材料，却共享同一种设计方法：对形式的克制、对使用的开放，以及对材料表现力的持续探索。

Jelly for Ichendorf, Noura for Martinelli Luce, Samira for Cantori, Sissi & Otto for Altreforme, Numen for Demarchi, and Ipazia, Sofia, Teodora and Arianna for Bisazza belong to different brands, categories and materials, yet are united by a shared design attitude: precision in form, openness in use, and constant attention to the expressive potential of matter.

Jelly for Ichendorf

在为 Ichendorf 设计的 Jelly 系列中，Studio Fuksas 将玻璃视为一种“活的材料”——明亮、流动，并始终处于变化之中。整个系列以“交叠”为原则，通过基础几何体的叠加生成新的形式关系与使用方式。花器、碗、玻璃杯、威士忌杯、马天尼杯与油壶因此不只是器皿，也成为可以被拿起、堆叠、重组与重新感知的对象。

For Ichendorf, Studio Fuksas has designed Jelly, a collection that approaches glass as a living material: luminous, dynamic and open to transformation.Built around the principle of intersection, the collection develops through the superimposition of simple geometries, generating new formal and functional configurations. Vases, bowls, glasses, whisky glasses, martini glasses and oil dispensers are conceived not only as vessels, but as objects to be handled, stacked, recomposed and re-read through use.

Jelly让玻璃展现出更具表现力、更具可塑性、也更具当代气质的一面。形式并不被固定下来，而是在使用中保持开放，在色彩、反射与层次之间获得新的生命。

With Jelly, glass becomes expressive, flexible and unmistakably contemporary. Form is never fully fixed; it remains open in use, gaining new life through colour, reflection and layered depth.

Noura for Martinelli Luce

为 Martinelli Luce 设计的 Noura，则将这种研究从玻璃转向了光。它以极薄的 30 毫米灯体、清晰而轻盈的轮廓，以及可形成动态组合的悬吊结构，在克制的形式中实现了精确而柔和的照明体验。

With Noura for Martinelli Luce, the research shifts from glass to light. Its ultra-thin 30 mm profile, clear and weightless outline, and suspended structure capable of dynamic compositions bring together formal restraint and technical precision in a remarkably quiet way.

Noura并不通过夸张的姿态去吸引目光。它更像是一道被悬置于空间中的光线：轻盈、稳定，同时保有建筑式的秩序感。也正因为如此，它不仅是一件照明产品，更是一种对空间关系的再组织。该作品同时获得了 iF Design Award 2026。

Noura does not seek attention through excess. It behaves more like a line of light suspended in space — light, stable and architecturally composed. In this sense, it is not only a lighting object, but also a way of reorganising spatial relationships. The project has also received the iF Design Award 2026.

Samira for Cantori

为 Cantori 设计的 Samira，呈现出更安静、也更富情绪的一面。它从沙漠、夜晚、倾听与低语中汲取灵感，让扶手椅不再只是功能性的坐具，而成为一种包裹感与停顿感的空间。

Designed for Cantori, Samira introduces a quieter and more contemplative register. Drawing on the imagery of the desert, of night, of listening and whispered stories, the armchair becomes more than a functional seat: it turns into a space of enclosure, pause and emotional stillness.

Samira并不依赖张扬的造型，而是通过材质、弧线与包裹感，让“坐下”这件事变得更沉静，也更内在。它体现的是Studio Fuksas在产品设计中另一种同样重要的维度：不是强调姿态，而是塑造感受。

Samira does not rely on emphasis or spectacle. Through materiality, curvature and a sense of embrace, it turns sitting into a quieter, more inward experience. Here, Studio Fuksas works not through assertion, but through atmosphere — shaping not a posture, but a feeling.

Numen for De Marchi Verona

为 De Marchi Verona 设计的 Numen，将 Studio Fuksas 的研究进一步延伸至材料表面与空间肌理。作为一组精致的瓷质砖系列，Numen 从自然中汲取灵感，以方形砖与十字形砖两种基本元素，唤起岩石断裂、地表沉积与自然秩序中所蕴含的真实之美与内在精神性。

Designed for De Marchi Verona, Numen extends Studio Fuksas’s research into surface, texture and spatial composition. Conceived as a refined collection of porcelain tiles, it draws on the authentic beauty of nature.Built around two primary elements, square tiles and cross-shaped pieces, the collection evokes fractured stone, sedimented matter, and the quieter spiritual essence of the natural world.

Numen 的魅力并不止于单块砖体本身，更在于组合所生成的开放性。通过不同方向的旋转与拼接，这一系列能够形成多种独特而富于节奏感的图案，使材料不再只是覆盖空间的表层，而成为构成空间感知与视觉秩序的一部分。在这里，瓷砖被转化为一种更具构成性与表现力的设计语言。

The strength of Numen lies not only in the individual pieces, but in the openness of their combinations. Through rotation and recomposition, the collection allows for a wide range of visually distinctive patterns, enabling the surface to move beyond mere cladding and become an active part of spatial perception and visual order. In this way, porcelain tile is transformed into a more compositional and expressive design language.

Sissi & Otto for Altreforme

在为 Altreforme 设计的 Sissi 与 Otto 中，Studio Fuksas回到了对铝材的形式研究与可持续探索。作品并不只是关于功能本身，也关于如何通过结构、图案与穿孔关系，重新定义物体与空间之间的界面。

With Sissi and Otto for Altreforme, Studio Fuksas returns to aluminium as a field of formal and environmental experimentation. These projects are not concerned with function alone, but with the way structure, pattern and perforation can redefine the interface between object and space.

在这一组作品中，几何不再静止，而是在视线与使用中持续变化。材料的轻盈与结构的精确，让作品同时具备雕塑感、空间感与可持续性，也让它们成为对当代居住与展示场景的一种回应。

Here, geometry is never static. It changes through movement, viewing and use. The lightness of the material and the precision of the structure give the works a sculptural presence, a spatial intelligence and a clear environmental awareness, making them a response to contemporary ways of living and displaying.

这五件作品之间真正的统一性，并不来自表面的“系列感”，而来自一种一致的设计立场：不是将形式强加于材料之上，而是让形式从各自媒介与材料的内在特性中自然生长出来。它们彼此独立，却又在同一种思考方式中互相回应。

The true coherence among these five projects does not lie in any superficial sense of series, but in a consistent position towards design: form is not imposed upon matter, but allowed to emerge naturally from the intrinsic qualities of each material and medium. Each project stands on its own, yet each responds to the others through the same way of thinking.
