The Republic of China Commemorative Silver Dollar (Yuan Shikai in High Hat and Military Uniform) is a classic machine-struck silver coin from the early Republic of China and a highly sought-after collectible in numismatics.

It was minted at the Tianjin Mint in 1913 (the 2nd year of the Republic of China), after Yuan Shikai assumed office as the President of the Republic of China. Issued to commemorate the republican form of government, it is a representative political commemorative coin of the early Republican era.

Designed and engraved by Luigi Giorgi (L.GIORGI), the chief engraver of the Tianjin Mint, it features smooth lines and vivid depictions of figures, making it a masterpiece among machine-struck coins of the Republic of China.
