As time - honored masterpieces in the boundless art river, the hundred - meter scrolls of landscape poetry and prose in the Qing Dynasty are like a dazzling pearl. Bearing unique historical and cultural values and artistic charms, they quietly tell the stories of the past.

With landscapes as the framework and poetry as the soul, this hundred - meter - long scroll presents undulating mountains, which are either majestic and powerful or delicate and elegant, as if the weather of thousands of years has been solidified in time. The river flows leisurely, and between the glistening waves, one can seemingly hear the whispers of years. The lush forests, simple villages, and winding paths outline the charm of Qing - Dynasty landscapes with delicate brushstrokes, vividly rendering the beauty of nature. Every detail reveals the painter's profound understanding of landscapes and exquisite skills.

These eternal poems and prose blend with the landscapes. Either inscribed at the twists and turns of mountains or written among the vast misty waves, they are filled with the sentiments of literati in the flowing ink. Some poems express admiration for the magnificent rivers and mountains, with powerful strokes, like “High peaks pierce the clouds, and clear streams reveal the bottom”, echoing the landscapes and conveying reverence for the great power of nature. Some express feelings about life, revealing inner tranquility and philosophical thoughts in the quietness of landscapes, like “Not astonished by honor or disgrace, watch the flowers bloom and fall in front of the court; Not caring about coming or leaving, gaze at the clouds rolling and spreading in the sky”. This allows viewers to touch the spiritual world of literati in that era while appreciating the landscapes.

In terms of artistic style, it inherits the essence of traditional Chinese landscape painting and incorporates the artistic characteristics of the Qing Dynasty. The use of texturing methods is rich and diverse. Either the axe - cut texturing shows the hardness of rocks, or the hemp - fiber texturing presents the solidity of mountains. The painter uses the brush as a medium to perfectly present the texture and momentum of landscapes. In terms of colors, there are both the light and elegant charm of ink wash and the bright and beautiful features of green - blue landscapes. With distinct layers and harmonious integration, they create artistic conceptions that are either quiet, magnificent, or ethereal, making viewers feel as if they are in the scene and沉醉 in this long landscape scroll.
